This ensemble based comedy follows Elisa and Dalia, two childhood besties, and their broke roommates, Jaden and Phyllie, as they struggle to pursue their passions in the midst of the unaffordability of Los Angeles. Elisa finds a glimmer of hope of becoming a full time artist when her company announces layoffs with severance. Dalia, a podcaster/activist, tries to rope Jaden and Phyllie into a protest when Jaden reveals he has betrayed their ideals and joined corporate America. Elisa’s dreams are shattered when her supervisor reveals she will not be impacted by the layoffs. After protesting alone, Dalia throws Elisa a surprise party to celebrate her new freedom, only to find her roommate crushed. Our roommates find comfort in one another and continue to dream.
