Seed
“Seed” follows Rocchina. A single mother. She works hard on her homestead in Malibu with her baby boy, Keith. She’s got a secret that keeps her busy. Once a line cook with dreams of becoming a chef, she possesses precise attention to detail. And she’s no bullshit. She was groomed and harassed by her old boss. In the kitchen, he ejaculated in front of her into a jar. Soon after, she killed him. And she saved the sperm he gave her. She realized this is her calling.
HER CALLING
Rocchina pulls men off the pedestals they’re unrightfully placed on. And she keeps their seed as a trophy. She’s killed dozens of powerful assholes. In the pilot, she’s after podcaster Wyatt Cole. She’s willing to change everything about herself to infiltrate his world and destroy his life. It's all for the job. She’s a career woman, afterall. Once she finishes with Wyatt it’s onto the next. Rocchina curates her victims- if you even want to call them that. She’s a real artisan. A craftswoman. It’s not like she kills any average-joe. She’s not a sociopath. She’s ridding the world of necessary evil. Someone’s gotta do it.
PLOT
As the season unfolds, Wyatt is declared missing. Rocchina battles the usual post-kill anxiety, but carries onward. The job calls. She takes care of her son and attends PTA meetings. She gets to know one of the teachers at her son’s school personally, a little too much so. All while planning her next execution, we see Rocchina tackle motherhood, divorced life, and a new boyfriend. We get how important it is to her to choose carefully and execute each crime to perfection. We side with her. She represents all of our mothers, aunts, sisters pushed to their limit.
